I think we could all use a good laugh. Memes are one of the greatest (worst?) gifts the internet has given us, and here are seven only readers will appreciate.
We’ve all been there. If we’re lucky, the book has a sequel. If not… you can either cry or throw the book across the room. Your choice.
The good news is that if a book disappoints you, there’s always another. You can never have too many books.
Yeah, I know. This is pretty hypocritical of me considering how much I make my own characters suffer. π€·π
We all have a towering TBR list. When you check off a book on it, you deserve to be proud.
Although sometimes finishing a book can leave mixed feelings. You ever just stare off in the distance in a daze when you finish a good one, not sure what to do with yourself outside the world of the story?
And sometimes finishing a book leaves you like this. Not that it stops us readers from starting the next book in the series. We’re gluttons for punishment like that.
This happens a lot with hot new books at my local library–not that it makes me love my library any less. I’ll happily wait if it means saving thirty bucks for a hardcover that I’m not sure I’ll like yet.
Speaking of saving money, there’s nothing better than finding an ebook with a beautiful cover and intriguing blurb and then seeing the price is zero.
Do you relate to any of these memes? Have your own favorite bookish meme? Let me know in the comments!

These are great!!! π That first one is how I felt about an element in the latest Toby novel. Like, srsly Seanan, youβre STILL not going to resolve this plot point?! On the other hand, sometimes the realization that there are too many unresolved threads is a relief because it means the series isnβt over yet.

Yes, it’s not so bad when there are more books in the series. (Or at least when the books are out now and you don’t have to wait. π)

Super relatable. Especially the question of do I have enough books. The answer is no. No I do not. My dream is to one day own a house with a dedicated library room. The only problem with that dream is that I will never again escape the gravitational force of all those books and they will find my body in a comfy chair holding a copy of Superhuman Disaster in my withered hands…
Anyway, thanks for sharing this. Needed a good laugh!

Haha! I guess I shouldn’t be laughing because you’re dead in this hypothetical situation, but the mental image cracks me up. π
A dedicated library room would be great. I never considered the dangers, though…
