I love a good book quote. I love urban fantasy. It’s not hard to figure out where the idea for this post came from. 😉
From funny first-person monologues to surprisingly deep insights gained between monster battles, urban fantasy has a lot of great lines. Here are a few of my favorites.

A mindset more of us need.
When fantasy novels get a little too real.
A threat that never scared off a private investigator in an urban fantasy novel ever.
Sounds like good reasoning to me. 🤔
Some consolation for those of us who never got to go to magic school.
Some words of wisdom from Bea in my urban fantasy short story The Memory of Ghosts, which you can read on the blog here.
And that’s it for now! What’s your favorite book quote? What urban fantasy protagonist do you think has the best inner monologue? Let me know in the comments!

Oooh, I want to know more about the Jim C. Hines book!
