  1. Kristen,
I just finished Hero Status and I really enjoyed it. I look forward to your next book. Keep up the great work!

  2. Hi Kristen! I recently read a collection of short stories (although I can’t recall the exact name, all the stories had to do with stairs in the woods) and your Ella Rosenfeld Szarka story was the clear winner – I never wanted it to end. When I finished I read Ghost Machine. Will there be more? I love this character and her scowling husband, Viktor.

    1. Hi Rachel! Thanks so much. I’m happy to hear you found The Ghost Machine through the Secret Stairs anthology. I had fun writing that one.

I have an idea for a sequel to The Ghost Machine but no concrete plans at the moment, since I’m currently focusing on completing my other series–though if I get more nice comments like yours, I might have rethink that. πŸ™‚

If you haven’t already, you can find a link on my Web Fiction page to a free short story set between The Ghost Machine and The Strange Stairs at the Aldebourne Estate. It stars Ella, but no Viktor, unfortunately. I definitely have plans for more short stories with those characters, if nothing else.
