This is a quick update to let everyone know that The Ghost Machine and Clockmaker are currently unavailable, as I’ve made the decision to end my contract with the publisher.
I debated letting this moment pass quietly without an announcement, but I think it’s important on social media to post both the good and the bad. Sometimes things don’t go according to plan, and that’s okay.
I won’t go into detail but will just say that I’ve gotten the rights to both books back. I haven’t decided how I’m going to re-release them yet, since I don’t think I have the energy for a third launch of the same novel. I might just throw them back up for sale, or put them into a new combined edition, or hide them on a secret page on this website that can only be accessed after solving an elaborate series of riddles. I’m still thinking about it.
In the meantime, Poison and Honey will be good to go on July 15th. (Here’s another great early review of it.) Its sequel is being proofread, and I’ve finished the first draft of the third book.
I’m not sure what I’ll write after this series. I know I’ve mentioned my superhero vampire novel and a cyberpunk book on previous posts, but those both need some reworking, and I may end up publishing something completely different first. (I should probably stop mentioning projects until I’m 100% sure I’m committing to them, lol.)
Whatever happens, I’m going to keep writing and moving forward.
Thanks for your support, and stay safe out there, everyone.
I’m not great at riddles (it’s been 24 years and I still don’t understand the truth/lie one from Labyrinth). But it sounds like a fun way to promote your books! I may be willing to give it a try… 😉

Thank you! And yeah, I’m awful at riddles too. So if I write some, they’ll probably be super easy (or so nonsensical that they’re almost impossible). 😀

As the creepy little girl says in “I Hate Fairyland,” is anyone ever really ready for a riddle? 😆
